It's a project I'm happy to finally be able to share with the masses!
My buddy Jeremy Megert and his band The Megalomaniacs had commissioned me a while back to create the album art for their new CD, "Bohemian Grove." I was definitely up for the challenge, as it would be one more album cover to add to the resume, plus bringing me one step closer to being a small part of music history.
I love jobs where I have total creative freedom, and I'm thankful for my friends trusting me enough to do a bang-up job.
"Bohemian Grove" is a groovy little 7-track EP of original compositions by the band, ranging from bitchin' blues to new and exciting approaches on the rock ballad. I got to hear all of the new stuff played live during the album release party last weekend, and I was thoroughly impressed. The lads were kind enough to sign my album after the show, as well.
The CD is available now directly from the band (check out their Facebook page here) and through iTunes. I'm hoping to talk them into a future vinyl pressing of the album, too. Thank you very much guys, for having me put a 'face' to the music you spent lots of blood, sweat and tears creating.
