Shut Up and Release The Damn Book Already!!!

The excitement is brewing I can assure you!

The proof copy of the book has been floating around to a few people close to the studio and The Cameron Gallery since yesterday, and I've been hearing good things from all corners. I'm as proud of this project as anything else that has come out of my studio in recent years. I only hope this is the beginning of many other book projects such as this.

Well, this is the moment you've all been wating for. Here are the details...The first print edition will be limited to only 50 copies  and come with an exclusive and original two-color hand silk screened print by yours truly. The print measures 8" x 9.5" and fits nicely just inside the cover, and is also very suitable for framing. Each print comes individually signed and numbered, too.

If you don't have it marked on your calendar yet, the book officially releases on Friday, May 13th at The Cameron Gallery from 6-9pm. (1414 Dragon Street / Dallas, TX 75226 / 214.747.1414.) Signed copies are available upon request for those wanting to purchase a book and can't attend the release. And not to sound vain, but anyone wanting their copy signed at the show, I'll be happy to scribble my name somewhere for you.

The final price tag for the 66 page book is $75.00, but don't fret. You get some awesome original art to go along with it, and because of the very tiny print run, this publication is a great investment. (I assure you I'll continue to be working hard to make that book extremely valuable in the near future!) The accompanying print (at right) mirrors many of the page designs contained inside.

Several pre-orders have already been made for the book, so act fast! If we happen to sell out of the first print run, there will more than likely be a second printing to follow, but you won't get the cool art with it, sadly.

Anyone interested in pre-ordering the book should contact Laura Keith at The Cameron Gallery at 214.747.1414 or at laura (at) thecamerongallery (dot) com. If you can't make it to the release party we'll be happy to ship your copy to you.

I hope you enjoy the book as much as I've enjoyed putting it together. It was a real labor of love, much like the art for "We Are Modern"ended up being. This first book is as much a real treat for me, and for those who have been nothing but encouraging and supportive of my work these many years, I thank you from the bottom of my being. Without you all this book (and art career) never would have happened.
